Institutional Text is attentive to the critical institutional practices beyond the mainstream scope. For its third public program, the curator, artist-educator and scholar from Mexico and Spain are invited to share singular case studies from their specific localities. By these diverse cases, it will reveal the possible roles the institution can take in the realm of educational turn and social engagement:
The curatorial project, Bring the Desires to the Centerpiece, at Center for the Arts of CONARTE NL which involved the marginal community around the art center.
The comparison between the art mediation experience at the Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and Institut Valencià d’Art Modern.
The artistic intervention project, Confluècies, by Institut Valencià d’Art Modern which sets up the conversation with 24 depopulated villages of La Comunidad Valenciana.
