Taiwan Visual Art Archive has been paying attention to the development of domestic art institutions, continuing the operation of the “think tank” platform, and proposing the “Institutional Text” project in response to the second wave of art museums in Taiwan in recent years, inviting domestic and foreign scholars, curators, and artists Librarians and young critics contribute special articles to provide space for theoretical discussion; taking the discussion of domestic and foreign art institutions as the warp and new institutionalism as the weft, annual special topics with both local and international perspectives are planned, including exhibitions as a way to re-discuss the history of art. Methods, international cases in Asia, and in-depth interviews with museum staff. We hope to accumulate key “institutional texts” and close observations of the development of art museums in various counties and cities in Taiwan, so as to provide reference for the current development of art institutions in Taiwan.
